Robert Hollaman (b.1970)
Robert Hollaman was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario and nurtured by a family that has always encouraged his expression in artistic pursuits. While developing his early talents he received his first art award in the sixth grade.
Growing up in an athletic family, Robert played many sports as a child and fondly remembers Saturday mornings in the winter waiting with anticipation to be driven to the hockey arena.
“Hockey is something that I grew up playing, eventually coaching and loved ever since my childhood. Painting my hockey hero’s past and present is something I take great pride in not only as a fan of the sport but also as an artist.”
Working mostly in oil or acrylic, Robert enjoys the photorealism aspect of painting and strives for this look in every piece of artwork.
Generously unselfish with his time and artist gift, Robert regularly donates his paintings to various children’s charities for silent auctions in an effort to raise money and awareness for the causes he supports.
In addition, Robert’s paintings are in numerous private collections throughout North America where families and corporate clients admire his talents.
Robert currently lives in Georgetown, Ontario with his wife Jodi, daughter Claire, and son Ryan.
