The Full Membership is intended for artists or businesses who want a website but
don't want to create, maintain and advertise a whole website. We have a cost-effective
solution that does not display pop-ups or advertising from our site, other than a button for visitors to return
to the Artists In Canada home page. Our button is not displayed on business sites.
Full Memberships are available for 1 or 2 year terms, with some differences
between Artist Full Memberships and Business Full Memberships. In the following text,
information specific to a membership type ( Artist or Business ) or to a term
( 1 or 2 years ) will be indicated as such.
Information for Artists
Artists can use our custom program to create preformatted pages based on the information
the artist types into forms from our Members Area. Creating a great looking web site is
as easy as filling in the blanks and hitting the 'submit' button.
Information for Businesses
We can build custom websites that work with our program, allowing clients to keep their
pages current without update charges.

| 1. Create Your Own Web Pages Easily |
Artist Sites
Artists can use our custom program to create several preformatted pages as follows:
- The homepage has a menu for navigation to the other pages, a short introduction for
site visitors and a table of thumbnails the visitor may view. The introductory
text is optional, so this page could be created entirely by the program.
- The C/V page contains information about the artist. The C/V can be in text format
that the artist types in, or a scanned image that is uploaded. If the C/V is typed
in, there are a commands to allow the artist to format fonts. For example, the artist
can select the font size, boldness, display italics or add an underline.
- Individual image pages. The artist uploads thumbnails and full-sized images to our
database by selecting files from their harddrive using our program. When the images
have been uploaded, the artist adds the information for the image; title, size, price,
etc. Images that are part of a series can be grouped together. From this information,
the program is able to create individual pages for each image and include the
thumbnails in the table of thumbnails on the artist's home page.

Business Sites
The same program used by artists can be used by businesses to create and maintain their pages.
Custom pages can be mixed with the program generated pages. For example, a gallery could
have a listing of artists with a thumbnail for each, and then have entire artist sites
linked to each thumbnail. Similarly, businesses can use the C/V program to format text
documents, such as newsletters, and store them on their site.

Note: the colours on the page have been kept simple for this sample and can easily be customised.
| 2. Ample Disk Space for Your Pages |
Artist 1 Year Term
- 1 mb of disk space. This holds about 18 images in JPG ( JPEG ) format at 400 X 400
resolution.
- Individual files can be up to 125,000 bytes in size.
- The size of the C/V and thumbnails is not included in the space usage calculations.
Artist 2 Year Term
- 2 mb of disk space. This holds about 36 images in JPG ( JPEG ) format at 400 X 400
resolution.
- Individual files can be up to 125,000 bytes in size.
- The size of the C/V and thumbnails is not included in the space usage calculations.
Business 1 Year Term
- 1 mb of disk space.
- Additional space is available at $26.75 per megabyte per year.
- Larger sites receive discounts based on the amount of storage required.
Business 2 Year Term
- 2 mb of disk space.
- Additional space is available at $26.75 per megabyte per year.
- Larger sites receive discounts based on the amount of storage required.
Artists In Canada does not host dot com websites at this time, but we do set up directories
for full members on our server. This provides a unique internet address so they can
advertise their site on search engines, business cards, their resume or other
correspondence. It also allows visitors to go directly to their webpages without going
through the Artists In Canada search engine.
| 4. Enhanced Search Listing |
- There is no difference between the 1 and 2 year terms for Artists.

- Businesses may use their company logo or an advertising banner in their listing.

this, and other membership information pages.
| 6. Featured Artist Subscription |
The Featured Artist Subscription displays the artwork of each featured artist by rotating
thumbnail images about every 15 seconds. The featured artist will change for every
visitor to the Artists In Canada site, so all featured artists get exactly equal billing.
Artist 1 Year Term
- All thumbnail images loaded by the artist can be displayed on our home page, provided
the visitor has JavaScript enabled. If not, only the first image will be displayed.
Artist 2 Year Term
- In addition to being displayed on our home page, thumbnail images are displayed on
related internal pages and on site information pages (like this one).
Businesses
Home page banner display prices will be quoted for businesses based on the size of the
banner and the length of time the banner runs. Package pricing is available for the
purchase of banner space on the sites internal pages.
Artists
- Upload or change images, bypassing any update charges. Although our
upload program is very easy to use, we provide full support to members having any
difficulties related to this.
- Update contact information and site description(s)
- Create or update C/V
Full Membership 1 Year Term
- View basic counters displaying the number of visitors sent to your site.
Full Membership 2 Year Term
- Along with the services provided by the Artist membership, businesses may have other
services allowing them to update the various pages on their site ( newsletters etc. ).
Artists / Businesses 2 Year Term
- View full counters breaking the number of visitors down by date and by referring page.
For example, an artist's site may be visited via the featured artist subscription, or by
having been searched for in our database, or by being displayed as one of our
'random sample pages' as on they are seen on this page.
- Other services as they become available.
| 7. Customized Page Formats |
Businesses requiring custom or complex page formats will be charged a one-time setup
fee of $107. An example of a complex page format would be a site that hosts members
of their own and each member has their own page on the site.
The setup fee allows us to provide the support needed to customize your site:
- We will work with you to create the pages you require in the format you
want. For example, we could add graphics to a format and create a new
menu system that would flow through the whole site.
- We will setup the format for additional member pages where the site has
members of their own. The entry of information and uploading of images
to these pages is subject to a $5 per item update fee ( volume discounts
may apply ).
- We will update our programs to allow you to change the pages, so you can
avoid update charges. Complex sites can add, update or remove pages for
their members as required.
| 8. Free Technical Support |
Free technical support is provided to our members for the term of the membership.
