Nik Semenoff

"I took a sabbatical from the printmaking department at the U of S to develop a waterbased screen printing process and ended up discovering waterless Lithography technology for printmaking."

Nik has invented the 3 part roller, the hand press, salt etch for copper and zinc plates, toner chalk and more.

A recent retrospective exhibition titled ALCHEMY, curated by Paul Constable continues to be shown in Semenoff's home province of Saskatchewan through 2020. In November 2019 he will participate and be honoured for his contributions to printmaking at an International printmaking exhibition, held in New York.

Nik Semenoff is a master printmaker who has changed how printmaking is being done around the world. His work is part of numerous permanent collections and his work has attained 'Cultural Property' status.
