A drawing of an eastern white bark. The original was drawn on cradled panel but is sold. A few prints remain (limited edition of 10) printed on Canson Watercolour paper with archival ink by Opus Print.
Living on the edge of the forest in Temiscaming, the red fox is a frequent visitor. When they pause, it is an opportunity to capture a still moment. The red fox is a particular favourite for its grace and agility.
A sister to the white spruce below. Varnished with layers of cold wax, this artwork does not require glass. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth
Flowering dogwood bark on a small tree showing lichens and moss on the 'alligator bark' of a tree growing in a very dry area in Vancouver.
Arctic fox lives in the Arctic and The Northern Boreal Forest. This photo was purchased from Reference photos for wildlife artists although I did manage to take some photos while visiting the EcoMuseum Zoo in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Montreal.
A Grizzly encounter is thrilling when at a distance. My trips to Alberta have awarded me three separate grizzly moments but never too close. Last viewing was while driving through Jasper we were thrilled to see a Grizzly with her 2 cubs. Cubs remain with Mom for 2-3 years.
I have a vivid memory of a winter storm driving from Swan Hills to Whitecourt Alberta and a gorgeous lynx crossing my path. I recently took some lovely photos while visiting the Eco museum Zoo in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Montreal. They are stunning. I tried to capture their beauty with a very detailed acrylic painting.
The loving scene as two cubs scurried down a tree to join their mother. Alberta
