Gold Scarab on a blue background
This tiny Anglican Church (St. Nicholas) is nestled in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley near Craven, Saskatchewan. On this fall day it was surrounded by autumn colour and glowed in the morning sun. Painted en plein air with Saskatchewan-made Stoneground Paints. (unframed)
While I was plein air painting these beautiful swans flew right by me. Silent in their flight and swift on their wings, they flew into to my heart. (Framed)
Wolf walking in snow, raven flying beside him.
While I was on Safari at the Ol Pejete Conservancy in Kenya, we came across a group of elephants near a river with a lot of bushes. I observed an elephant that was relatively close, chewing on leaves and just enjoying himself. I zoomed in quite close of his eye just as he had moved and a glint of light highlighted his bottom lashes. The eye itself is not as obvious and as you follow the highlighted lash up to the eye it leads you to a beautiful surprise, as most people do not know that elephants eyes are a gorgeous orange-amber color.
Framed watercolor. Frame size 8 x 10 in I sat and waited in a garden in San Jose, camera ready for this hummingbird to show up. I loved the unique bell flowers.
Painted edges of the canvas, ready to hang. This was the view as we kayaked down the river in the fall.

Unframed, matted watercolor of northern lights in winter. Mat size 11in x 14 in.
