This is a large painting of flowers with rich colors and dramatic imagery. It's H. 3' x W. 5' and it is an original oil on canvas. It's painted on the top, bottom and sides so that it does not require a frame which is a contemporary style. More of my art can be seen on my Instagram at: marilynmylrea.art or https://www.instagram.com/marilynmylrea.art/.
Like the iconic song featured in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's, this artwork reflects a profound yearning to achieve one’s dreams and the complex journey of life. Much like a winding river, the pursuit of aspirations and the ultimate quest for happiness is expressed symbolically with MOON RIVER.
Timeless ballet, eternal and majestic. Let the rhythm, the mystery, and the grace of beauty guide you. Surrender to the symphony, find your bliss in the eternal dance, the lyrical embrace of ocean waves.
In Percy Shelley's 1820 lyrical drama "Prometheus Unbound," the protagonist's focus on humanity's future resonates with the challenges faced during the global COVID-19 pandemic. Much like Prometheus, societies worldwide endured the anguish of isolation. However, akin to Prometheus, the resilient spirit of love and desire triumphed over societal distress, illuminating the indomitable human capacity for resilience, connection, and love.

Intense and dramatic, Gary Crawford's works draw the viewer in. Layer upon layer of brilliantly contrasting colours are laid down, or thrust upon the viewer. These layers energize the work with a certain deliberate tension. And then there is the light - part of the final layering process that lifts the spirit and draws the eye to explore the depths of the work - time and time again.
