This artwork reflects on bees as pollinators along with forageable herbal, medicinal and edible plants found growing wild in Manitoba. Depicted here are bur oak, wild licorice, ground ivy, indigo milkcap mushrooms and bees. This varied edition hand-pulled linocut print was created from my own design I drew onto and then hand carved into a piece of linoleum. I then inked the carved lino, layered paper I had hand-made overtop, and hand-pulled the combo through my roller press to transfer the ink from the carved lino onto the paper. This artwork reflects on bees as pollinators along with herbal, medicinal and edible plants found growing wild in Manitoba. Depicted here are wild ginger, wood sorrel, bedstraw and bees. This varied edition hand-pulled linocut print was created from my own design I drew onto and then hand carved into a piece of linoleum. I then inked the carved lino, layered paper I had hand-made overtop and hand-pulled the combo through my roller press to transfer the ink from the carved lino onto the paper. Artwork is matted to 11x14" and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

There are a few types of mushrooms that grow in circles known as Fairie Rings. Depicted here are Scotch Bonnet mushrooms, along with Feverfew, Mullein, Purslane, Labrador Tea, Wild Riverbank Grape, and White Clover.
