This is another tropical flower . There are many varieties grown in Madeira Portugal where I had bought some seeds a few years ago but was never able to get them to germinate . They have a lovely texture and like a lot of tropical plants survive cut for a couple of weeks or more

Driving my past a garden in Hampton I saw a hummingbird bird enjoying nectar among these beautiful blue delphiniums . I pulled my car over and photographed him and these tall beauties!
