Be part of the opening festivities as CBC Arts – TV's Amanda Parris hosts Art! Vancouver’s opening gala night
 
Art! Vancouver is thrilled to have CBC Arts’ Amanda Parris hosting our opening gala night. Parris is the host of CBC Arts’ weekly TV and online series, Exhibitionists, and CBC’s Radio 2's Marvin's Room. As an educator, accomplished actor and playwright, Parris is the perfect fit, and will add more color to the evening.
 
The opening gala takes place Thursday May 25th from 7:00-10:00pm, at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Meet the artists and join Parris as Art! Vancouver celebrates Canada’s 150th anniversary through the appreciation of art.
 
Parris will also be hosting a panel discussion regarding Public Art over the course of the weekend. Experts on the field will engage in a discussion on the topic. Stay tuned for more details.
