Marshes (Les marais)

The synthetic symbolism movement, married with a hint of naturalism, seems appropriate to chromatically underline, within my artwork, what is vital to all life on Earth: marshes. By a linear sequence of paintings, I invite the observer to leave the city to take part in a visit of marshes, and slowly, from painting to painting, I encourage him to realize that the more the city imposes itself on the marsh, the more the marsh disappears; therefore civilization finds itself in jeopardy.
