These light boxes, painted in acrylic on plexiglass, lit with LED (light-emitting diode), are the products of artist’s manipulation of mixing, superimposing, and projecting both colours and lights as they pass through matter These framed mirrors, digitally cut with laser, create patterns, crevices, cutouts of play of negative spaces resulted from the interaction between shadow and light. The interaction between material and light thereby reveals patterns that would fluctuate according to the viewer’s perception and viewing angles. The light bar creates the illusion of diffraction of light in modulating colours, blending real space and perceived space in time.
