NANCY CONSTABLE
Multimedia artist Nancy Constable was born and educated in the rural community of Bright Sand in northern Saskatchewan. She now resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
Nancy, over the years studied art at Grant MacEwan College, Edmonton
Art Gallery, NAIT, University of Alberta, Lakeland College and Sutton Art in Edmonton. She has participated in a variety of workshops with artists from Canada, USA, and Denmark. Nancy works in oils, water colours, fluid acrylics, as well she paints on china, and does dyes on silk and rice paper. Her work has been shown at Johnson Gallery, Grassland Gallery, Art Beat Gallery, Look Gallery and Strathcona Place, all in Edmonton.
A porcelain tile painting was selected by the Allied Art Council (Spruce Grove) juried art show and now is exhibited in one of their public buildings. Nancy has done commission work for the Millwoods Golf Course and numerous private collections in Edmonton. Her work is also on display in hospitals in Edmonton, Alberta.
