Discover the rich history and diverse talent within the Association, which has been a cornerstone of the Saskatchewan art scene since its founding in 1982 by ten passionate sculptors, inspired by the renowned Bill Epp, a celebrated artist and professor at the University of Saskatchewan. The Prairie Sculptors' Association boasts a wide range of skills, including blacksmithing, stone carving, woodwork, ironwork, bronze casting, ceramics, and more. Whether you're interested in commissioning a unique piece, organizing a symposium in your town, or bringing a hands-on workshop to your community, the Prairie Sculptors' Association is dedicated to sharing their craft with the world. Over the years, the Association has hosted 19 symposia across Saskatchewan, showcasing their talents in locations such as Saskatoon, North Battleford, Big River, and Manitou. Their most recent gathering was held in Martensville in 2024, continuing a legacy of artistic excellence.

Additionally, the Association has curated numerous group shows, including their annual spring/fall exhibitions at Innovation Place and shows at the Saskatoon Public Library and regional events and art Fairs. The impact of the Prairie Sculptors' Association extends beyond exhibitions and symposia. Their members have contributed significantly to the public art scene in Saskatoon and North Battleford, with many pieces adorning public spaces, funded through a variety of methods including rentals, purchases, and generous loans from the artists themselves.
