Lynne Heller is a Canadian post-disciplinary artist and educator. Her interests encompass material culture, new media performative interaction, graphic novels and sculptural installation.
My sculptural textile pieces merge the traditional handcraft of smocking with the contemporary technique of silk painting. Inspired by traditional textile structures, I use colour, proportion and stitch to alter the surface.
