Québécois d'origine égyptien,
Mourad est né en 1975, Il obtient son diplôme d’urbanisme et architecture en 1999. Parallèlement en 2000,il étudie l’art visuel à l’Université Hilwan du Caire.
Dès l’âge de 13 ans Mourad a manifesté son amour pour l’art visuel. En 1989, il participe à sa première exposition. Et participe à de nombreuses manifestations culturelles au Caire, il a remporté de l'atelier du Caire l’une des institutions culturelles les plus prestigieuses d’Égypte, lui consacre sa première exposition solo en 2001, avec la création de toiles et porcelaines.
Par la suite, il a participé à d'un grand numéro d'expositions jusqu'à son déménagement à sa nouvelle partie ,le Québec, en 2016 pour reprendre son démarche artistique,il a participé à plusieurs expositions dans différentes régions du Québec, notamment en Gaspésie et a Montréal. Il élargit son travail sur le surréalisme,l’expressionnisme ainsi que le réalisme.
