EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Artist – Art Teacher Art teacher 1981 - present Instruction given in various areas of the visual arts including painting, drawing, sculpture, art history and art appreciation. Art classes were taught throughout Saskatchewan in over 100 different communities. Many classes were on going lasting many years in a community others were workshop style classes. Kevin has taught art workshops in over 80 schools and adult classes in over 40 communities.

PROFESSIONAL ARTIST

Official Portrait Artist; Saskatchewan Agricultural Hall of Fame 1984-present 122 portraits of SAHF inductees on permanent display at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon Official Portrait Artist;

Saskatchewan Transportation Hall of Fame 1988-present. 19 portraits of STHF inductees on permanent display at the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw Exhibition Schedule;

Since 1981 Kevin has mounted 15 one man exhibitions averaging 25 artworks per show and participated in 48 group shows.

Snow Carving; 8 ft. sculptures carved at 9 invitational festivals throughout Saskatchewan Installations; murals and sculptures 'Buskers' life size concrete figurative sculpture of two musicians 10th and Broadway, Saskatoon ‘Ann's Dream' 8 ft. concrete figurative sculpture of a walking woman outside of the Chapel Gallery in North Battleford 'finger labyrinths' 6 x 30 ft. concrete surface with six labyrinths carved in relief Chapel Gallery patio, North Battleford ‘Men of Iron’ life size concrete sculpture completed by Kevin Quinlan and Linda Leslie of two workmen on a 1905 railroad hand car.

‘The Unsung heroes of Agriculture' four panel historical mural painted in oil tempera on traditional chalk ground panels, Western development museum, Saskatoon ‘Watrous community life' four panel mural painted in acrylic by Kevin and 12 Watrous artists, Kevin painted 106 human figures.

Watrous civic center Kevin's artworks are in public, corporate and private collections.
