Donovan’s practice spans multiple disciplines including painting, mixed media, drawing, and photography. She is interested in patterns that shape awareness, thoughts and behaviours. She makes work that examines agency, perception, memory and the impacts of social and technological change.
Recent exhibitions include, Predicament at The Red Head Gallery, Legacies at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa, and Big to Small at Hermes Gallery in Halifax. Her work was also featured in Carte Blanche Vol.2: Painting, a survey of contemporary painting in Canada.
