Wascana, 1996 World Ice Carving Championships, Fairbanks, Alaska, Silver Medal
Ice Sculpture, Wascana means Pile of Bones in Cree. It was the first name of the city of Regina, in Saskatchewan. 36,000 lbs of ice carved over 5 and a half days with 3 team-mates to create 48 large buffalo skulls. First Canadian Team to compete in Fairbanks. Designed by Patricia Leguen and carved with Ulli Meng, Berry Nishkan and Mariana Stolz.
