Pretty Dangerous

Posted: March 22, 2020

COVID–19 AKA  (Coronavirus) will unfortunately be with us for a while.

Since it's arrival and our general awareness in January, and more previlently in March; we are finally starting to take it more seriously. Online has never been more important to remove 'Social Distancing' when it comes to artists and their art. We as artists need to show our art and love to have buyers attend our openings. Artists are a social lot and a generous group that share, support and generally give out hugs and kisses to those we are familiar with.

STOP THE HUGS AND KISSES

For now we encourage everyone to be respectful of each other's 2 meters of personal space. This is an unfamiliar time for most of us as we have never had to be ordered to stay at home and away from larger social gatherings. It is unpresidented. Those of us who are collectors and buyers, we encourage you to use Artists in Canada as a resource to purchase or commission an art piece. If you require assisitance we will gladly help direct you to a number of choices.

SO GATHER AROUND PEOPLE

So what can you do as an Artist to move yourself forward and to help? We are looking for the ways you are coping with this new way of doing business and supporting those in need. If you are a full time artist your safety net is possibly not so secure, so let us know what you are doing. Those of us who are diversified in income streams, AKA you have part or full time employment, what are you doing?

WE ARE LOOKING AT NEW OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOW YOUR ART ON ARTISTSINCANADA. WE WILL POST IT AS SOON AS IT IS READY!

For now keep doing your art. The Coronavirus will eventually pass and you will have a unique body of work to share with the rest of us.

Follow Artists In Canada on our social medias. Make sure we are friends, as we like and share our members art postings.
