Christine is a self taught abstract artist growing up in Germany and having found a new home in Canada/Nova Scotia/Halifax where she lives with her family for the last 23 years.
Christine's artwork is intuitive and guided by her imagination. Every piece is a new experience in which she tries to reflect her heart, soul and mind. The creative process is fluid so she does not commit to one specific style but is influenced by cubism and abstract expressionism. She is also strongly influenced by the world around her : people, nature, light, shade, line and how those interact,including the unknown and imagined.
Abstract forms are her principle focus, usually expressed in acrylics and mixed media.
Her goal is to inspire people through her work and to illustrate that the world around us all can be viewed and interpreted in a variety of imaginative ways.
