Victor Oriecuia

I am a contemporary stone sculptor, specializing in luxury stones and creative display solutions. My ambition is to re-introduce art collectors to made-in-Canada, hand-crafted, original art with no reproductions. Each piece I create is guaranteed one of a kind. My approach to sculpture is to capture the likeness in anatomy, character, and mood of my subject, while evoking an emotional response by the observer. My pursuit of classical sculpture compels me to employ traditional tools and old world techniques to create vibrant sculptures that push the boundaries of possibilities with marble. I take on commission work, and I also enjoy collaborating with other artists such as blacksmiths, glass blowers and woodworkers.
