Painting, Landscape, Realism, Acrylic, Oil, Wildlife & Nature artwork, gouache
Cindy has been painting now for about 30 plus years. Her husband encouraged her to start and has been her biggest fan ever since. Trained as a medical laboratory Technician, she was never formally trained in painting. After her marriage to a Grain farmer in Alberta, she started to take workshops from top artists in her field of interest; which is wildlife and nature. So, having taken workshops from John Seerey-Lester, Robert Bateman, Carl Brenders, Allan Hunt, Terry Isaac, Daniel Smith to name a few, she evolved her own particular style. Her primary medium is acrylic but she also uses oils and gouache. Always using colours with "punch". She hopes her work brings the unnoticed to the public's awareness, as she believes that people care about things they have some awareness of.
