Visual Arts Mississauga

Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) is the City’s premier visual arts organization providing affordable arts programs and exhibition space. Our mission is to enrich community life by fostering an appreciation of the arts through active involvement in a variety of creative experiences. Programming at VAM carefully considers the community it serves. Starting with our youngest students, VAM offers daily art classes for 6 - 12 year olds (in English or French) to master a broad range of disciplines including drawing, painting, pottery and art history. Our year-round instruction at our Art Centre includes over 100 adult classes and 80 children’s courses offered by professional instructors in acrylic, watercolour, oil, pastel, pencil, mixed-media, clay, photography, ikebana, stained glass and other mediums.
