“Colouring Outside the Lines”

Kelsey Vaughan and Nicole Kurceba are both graduates of NSCAD University, in Halifax NS, which is where they met and shared studio space since 2016. Immediately a strong relationship was formed where they were able to critique and inspire one another’s works. They later founded the “Coasties Collective” with five other artists from NSCAD University to encourage an environment of female artists supporting one another in their professional artistic careers. The Collective continues to thrive as do the artists within it. Nicole and Kelsey being the Albertans from the collective are now working together closely and invite you to enjoy their group show, where figurative and landscape subjects communicate through colour and mark making.
