In this three-hour class you will create a bright, beautiful floral using the impasto technique. Impasto paintings are created by applying the paint thickly to create dramatic textures, light, and shadow. Oksana will teach a simplified approach to painting florals with a palette knife by breaking it down into basic shapes and values. Follow her demonstration step by step while learning the characteristics of acrylic paints and texture. You’ll be amazed at what you can do with a limited colour palette and some basic colour mixing. A great start for new acrylic painters as well as artists who want to add new techniques to their repertoire!
