Kathy Bradshaw

Encaustic, Oil & Mixed Media Artist and Art Educator KATHY BRADSHAW is an award-winning Saskatoon-based artist who works with a range of subject matters in oil and encaustic, an ancient medium treasured for its luminosity, layering capabilities and mysterious nature. Expressive mark-making, colour, texture and light all play a powerful role in Bradshaw’s work. She received her B.F.A. with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005 and since then has participated in numerous international workshops, retreats and artist residencies and solo and group exhibitions across Canada and the US. Bradshaw is represented by galleries across Canada and her work is found in collections throughout North America and around the world.
