Artworld Fine Art was founded in Toronto in 1995. Originally housed in a 2,500sq ft space, Artworld expanded in 2013 to a 7,400sq ft space in West Toronto. The expansion allowed for a more diverse selection of Canadian and International painters, sculptors and photographers. Artworld Fine Art is considered a destination for its expertise in collection management, curation, project management, art installation, art placement, insurance valuation, restoration, conservation and custom framing.
Under the vision and lead of Donna Child, the gallery’s principal, Artworld has become a destination for Fine Art and Culturally diverse events, Artworld regularly organizes museum-quality exhibitions; recently a sculpture exhibition featuring Canadian Inuit sculptor Abraham Rubin and Picasso – The Printmaker. The gallery advocates for making art accessible and inclusive for diverse cultures and demographics through Public Art Classes, Workshops. Spoken Word nights and other art related events.
In 2015 Artworld became the Major Sponsor of The Toronto West Arts Collaborative a not for profit organization, with over 100 members, founded by Donna Child, it is devoted to supporting emerging artists in the area of marketing and networking through lectures, experience building workshops and exhibition opportunities.
