An abstract photograph was created near Elbow Falls in Kananaskis, Alberta. The Elbow River begins in the Rocky Mountains and flows east, providing the City of Calgary with almost 50% of its drinking water. It then merges with the Bow River. This image is stunning, printed 20x30 inches, using the Chromaluxe process. It is embedded directly into the high gloss metal, making it durable and vibrant. No frame is required, and the image is shipped ready to hang. The image will be printed upon purchase and may require two to three weeks processing and shipping time. It will be shipped from Ontario.
Master Printmaker, Nik Semenoff created a unique body of work while developing waterless printmaking technology. He revolutionized printmaking, making it safer and more environmentally friendly, and gave it freely to the world to use. He lectured around the world, with sold-out shows in China and Japan where he was revered. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a low-edition, multiple colour print (7/10), produced in 2000. It is a hand-pulled print that responds to hierarchy and privilege and how we like to be awarded for our personal accomplishments. It will be matted before shipping.
