Porsche #9: I was developing a new portrait simply called Cap-girl, when an art patron, who had previously purchased a couple of my stone sculptures, visited my studio. A long time Porsche owner and racing fan, he said he would like to buy it, and asked if I would put the name Porsche on the cap along with his lucky number; # 9. So, in an instant, baseball-cap-girl, became Porsche #9 ―a private commission.

A past portrait painting of a young girl in a traditional East Asian orange sari, in unusual light from a nearby window. Acrylic on canvas framed in a cherry frame. NFS - portrait painting example.
The ceramic sun and moon mug with candle wax residue in it, the subject of this original acrylic painting on canvas, was given to me by friends who found it left in an old house they purchased. This is a painting I did in 2004. Celestial themes have always appealed to me and I incorporated it into a still life with glass bottles and decanter, a marble, a cactus in a ceramic pot, all sitting on a low wood table surface by a window. It is 14"x18" with a 1 3/4" light stained finished cherry wood frame on it. The frame has a couple tiny nicks. There is hanging hardware on back, a screwed on wire, and a man made wood panel back. More images are available if you have interest in this piece. Shipping would be around $46-$60 well protected, tracked and insured to US or in Canada only.
A past commissioned portrait, in the private collection of the client, of their daughter with a paper crown on her head. An example of a 3/4 figure portrait on canvas in acrylic with an abstract background. Price would be for a 16"x20" commissioned portrait size on gallery wrapped canvas which is ready to hang.
A recent collage style pet portrait commission of 2 dogs and a cat, completed as a Christmas gift for a client Dec 2022. This is an example of 1 type of pet portrait I do. Watercolour on illustration board. Would require a frame with mat and glass.
