I painted these from life. they were from a local farm and i love trying to paint them as they moved toward the lamp light.
I painted this from life on a rainy fall day. I saved the last of the flowers from frost. it was fun to study the saturated colors.
I painted this larger from a study that i did at the tiny marsh in tiny township. it is a large marsh, very ecologically important as marshes help to purify water as well as provide habitat for a wide variety of plants and wilddlife.
I painted this from a reference photo that I took in point au baril. It was a cold day but the ice had melted.
