I have painted wildlife for many years. I still paint horses and some other animals as well.
A favourite bird among many that I paint.
Rocky Edge is taken from Fish Creek Park. I have taken much inspiration from this area as it is in my back yard.
A popular mountain in Banff National Park. I have painted this scene many times from different angles. Love fall colours.
Taken from a hike at Sunshine Meadows, one of Banff's favourite destinations. The larch trees are beautiful in the fall.

Early evening painting at Mackenzie Beach near Tofino. Spectacular rock stacks create a sheltered gateway to the Pacific Ocean. This region south of Tofino is within Pacific Rim National Park on Vancouver Island B.C., and while the rugged coastline is beautiful it is also wild, hazardous, and famous for its magnificent storm watching. Marine, intertidal species and mammals are abundant. Each year, at least 8 million tonnes of plastics leak into the ocean. The District of Tofino, Surfrider Pacific Rim and Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks partnership fosters beach stewardship; collect litter, marine debris, use water refill stations, single-use items are banned.
