A foggy day at the Halifax Harbour in Nova Scotia

I painted these flowers from life. It was good practice to simplify the flowers. I love painting abstract shapes of leaves in glass.
I created this from a drawing that I made at Lake Couchiching in Orillia. It was good practice to paint figures. I showed it recently at the show entitled " head to toe" at Quest Gallery in Midland.
I did this plein air on a camping trip to Beausolei Island. It was hot sitting on the rocks in the sun. The sky was hazy from the wildfires in western Canada.
I painted these from life. they were from a local farm and i love trying to paint them as they moved toward the lamp light.
I painted this from life on a rainy fall day. I saved the last of the flowers from frost. it was fun to study the saturated colors.
