Promise of Spring, is acrylic on Gallery Wrap Canvas. That time of year when the first heat of the sun, after the long winter, begins to melt the river ice. The promise of spring.

Death exits her checkpoint shack trailing a ghost, handing a leaking box of sands of time running out to a freedom fighter who will try to outrun the loss while the world burns off canvas' edges. The vanishing fence separates time and the eternal sky.
The Prostitute /On the Street, is the last degradation of a woman's life. Seen from the back, appears to call out to two male figures in the dark walking away from her, not hearing her. Near the bottom, her ankles appear tied to posts - she is imprisoned in the dark of the street. From the exhibition : A WOMAN'S DARK DREAMS (2018)
Gulls gather at the posts as the weather looks unsettled.
March melt on a country highway in 4 pm dark - -day ends early. The house just off the road has since been demolished but daily drive to and from work gets longer and winter gets longer getting home will feel so good
There’s a little forest area tucked away, close to where I live. I call it the secret forest. It’s a mysterious woods, high up on a hill. I enjoy going there and exploring the tall maples, oaks, poplars, ashes and elms. Everywhere I look in this lovely forest, I see lush green plants thriving on the ground. The squirrels chatter away as they jump from branch to branch, then dart up the huge tree trunks. At the far end of this beautiful wooded hideaway, there’s a small valley. A little river runs through it, and the water trickles over the rocks nearby. The sound puts me in a contemplative and slightly meditative state. I’m always at peace in this enchanted secret forest.
